Day 1 : Kota Kinabalu - Summit Trail
Early morning transfer from the city, along the way you will be
able to enjoy the scenic villages, padi fields and occasional view
of Mount Kinabalu. At Kinabalu Park Headquarters,
register and meet your mountain guide. You will be transferred to
Timpohon Gate where you start your trail to the summit. As you trek
through the lush forest, make sure you check out the many species
of nepenthes, orchids and montane birds which are endemic to Sabah.
Observe the changes from a tropical rainforest to a montane forest
as you ascend. Stop at Laban Rata (3272.7m) in the late afternoon
where you will stay the night. Stretch out your tired muscles, have
an early rest after dinner.
Day 2 : Low's Peak
Morning call at 2am, ascend to Low's Peak (4101m),
the highest peak in Southeast Asia. You will probably be the first
person to enjoy the spectacular sunrise! Enjoy the breath of fresh
