Day 1 : Sepilok Jungle Resort - Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre

Transfer to Sepilok Jungle Resort set in a paradise of the virgin jungle and only minutes walk to the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre.

At the rehabilitation centre, watch the "man of the jungle" swing from branches to branches towards the feeding station. Free at leisure in the afternoon. Optional tours to Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary or night jungle walk at the Kabili-Sepilok Forest.

Day 2 : Selingan Turtle Island

Cruise through a mangrove forest, watch out for occasional stork-billed kingfishers swooping pass. Arrive at Libaran Island where you can take a leisurely stroll through the quaint fishing village. After lunch on the island, we will transfer to Selingan Turtle Island.

Grab a mask, snorkel and fins, snorkel off the beach or simply relax on the shore. On the beach you will find remaining tracks of the turtles which came up to shore the night before.

Visit the exhibition centre and treat yourself to a slide show featuring information of turtles and the rehabilitation program. After dinner, park rangers will take you to the egg-laying site to witness turtles laying eggs. You will also get a chance to hold and release young turtles to the ocean.

Day 3 : Selingan Turtle Island - Sepilok - Sukau

After breakfast at Libaran Island, transfer to Sepilok where you will continue overland to Sukau, home of proboscis monkeys, langurs, macaques, hornbills, kingfishers, bubuls, trogons, flycatchers, sunbirds, broadbills, herons, mangrove snakes, vipers, estuarine crocodile, asian elephants and many more wildlife. Take an afternoon cruise along Menanggol River, an inlet off Kinabatagan River where you can observe wildlife on the boat itself. After dinner, a guide will take you on a jungle walk to look for nocturnal animals.

Day 4 : Sukau - Ox Bow Lake

Wake up early, breath the crisp rainforest air. This morning we cruise on Kinabatagan River to an Ox Bow Lake where we will go on a jungle trek. Before we head back to the Lodge, enjoy a coffee & tea break in the middle of the jungle. Treat your senses to the many fascinating sights and sounds of the jungle. After lunch, we will transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Kota Kinabalu. Or choose to stay another night in Sepilok/Sandakan.
