Day 1 : Sandakan - Sepilok Nature Resort

Transfer to Sepilok Nature Resort, where quaint bungalows are hidden amongst tropical plants, grasses and huge trees. Today you can treat yourself to either a city tour to Sandakan town or to the Crocodile Farm. And after dinner, a choice of a Guided walk through the Kabili-Sepilok Forest or an early morning guided bird-watching trail.

Day 2 : Sepilok Nature Resort - Lankayan Island

This morning, you will transfer by boat from Sandakan jetty to Lankayan Island, the jewel of Sulu Sea. The resort features wooden and roomy seafront chalets.

Experience this secluded island where there are no other inhabitants except for you and other guests. Choose to snorkel in the pristine waters or just relax in the tranquility of the beaches.

Day 3 : Lankayan Island

Enjoy another day of more snorkeling or simply just lazing around the beaches. If you are adventurous enough, try Discover Scuba, a scuba diving tryout.

Day 4 : Lankayan Island - Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre - Sepilok Jungle Resort

Early morning transfer from the island to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre in time for the feeding session of "The Man of the Jungle". After the feeding session, treat yourselves to an informative video show at the centre. Check in at Sepilok Jungle Resort, set in a paradise of beautiful garden surroundings and virgin forest environment.

Day 5 : Sukau, Kinabatagan River Cruising

Pick up from resort today, you will go on an overland journey to Sukau, home to the proboscis monkeys, langurs, macaques, hornbills, kingfishers, bubuls, trogons, flycatchers, sunbirds, broadbills, herons, mangrove snakes, vipers, estuarine crocodile, Asian elephants and many more exotic wildlife.

Take an afternoon cruise along Menanggol River an inlet off Kinabatagan River where you can observe wildlife on the boat itself. After dinner, explore the jungle to look out for nocturnal animals.

Day 6 : Sukau - Ox Bow Lake

Wake up early, breath in the crisp rainforest air. This morning we cruise on Kinabatagan River to an Ox Bow Lake where we will go on a jungle trek. Before we head back to the Lodge, enjoy a coffee & tea break in the middle of the jungle. Treat your senses to the many fascinating sights and sounds of the jungle. After lunch, we will transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Kota Kinabalu. Or choose to stay another night in Sepilok/Sandakan.

Note: For Scubadivers, you can dive Lankayan Island on Day1, 2 & 3 instead where there will be 3 boat dives per day and unlimited beach diving.
