Sabah Malaysian Borneo, once known as North Borneo lies on the northern tip of Borneo, the world’s third largest island. The coastline of Sabah is fringed by the South China Sea in the west, Sulu Sea in the northeast and Celebes Sea in the southeast. Sabah enjoys a tropical climate all year round and sub-tropical to montane climate in the mountains.

The land is blessed with diverse natural treasures from Top to Bottom. There are over 500 species of birds, 1500 species of flowers and plants, many of which are endemic to Sabah; not forgetting our famous Rafflesia (world largest flower) and the canny looking Proboscis Monkey with its bizarre long nose.

Mount Kinabalu, probably the most famous icon of all is the highest mountain in South East Asia. With its peak towering at 4,100 metres (13,400 ft) this magnificent mountain boasts flora and fauna life over 4 climatic zones. This is indeed a botanist’s and bird watcher’s paradise!

Apart from topside attractions, our underwater world are wonders of pelagic and macro marine life. This region has one of the richest bio-diversity in marine life like nowhere else. The trio islands of Sipadan, Kapalai and Mabul are a must-dive for many divers and underwater photographers. Waters are teemed with swirling schools of barracudas, jacks, sharks and turtles. Apart from all the big action, you will also find macros like nudibranchs, mantis shrimps, frog fish, blue ribbon eels, mandarin fish, crab-eye gobies and more…
